Storm Large (born Susan Storm Large on June 25, 1969) is an American artist, singer actress, and author. Her name was a focal point of national attention when she appeared when she appeared on the CBS reality TV series Rock Star: Supernova. While she was primarily as a rock musician but in recent times she’s branched out into the cabaret and theater world. As a native from Portland, Oregon, she performs in her band in venues across the country , and performing with Portland-based group Pink Martini throughout the world.
In September of 2006 Large performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” on the second season’s final episode of the ESPN reality program The Contender. She sang the national anthem a second time in November 4th, 2006 during the Portland Trail Blazers’ opening home game of the 2007-2006 NBA season. The broadcast was broadcast via Fox Sports Northwest, the Seattle and Portland affiliate of Fox Sports Net.
Large is most widely known for her appearances as a contestant on Rock Star: Supernova. She was eliminated on September 6, 2006 (in the last show before the season finale).
